Accommodations

Participants should make their own arrangements directly with the hotel of their choice. Special rates for the meeting have been negotiated with the 4 hotels listed below, and are available for Friday and Saturday nights, October 9 and 10. Please cite the relevant code when making a reservation. Hotels have varying cancellation or early checkout penalties; be sure to ask for details when making your reservation. The room rates quoted below do not include applicable taxes; the current tax rate on hotel rooms is 12.75%. Please note that all hotels have a smoke-free policy except where noted.

Travel from Hotel Area to Conference

These 4 hotels are located closely together near the intersection of Interstate 40 and Wendover Avenue. As it is not possible to walk to campus from the hotel area, the UNC-Greensboro Department of Mathematics and Statistics will provide limited shuttle service from these hotels to the conference venue. For those with their own transportation, it is an easy and pleasant drive from the hotel area to the conference venue: Take Wendover Ave east for 3.8 miles. Take the Market Street exit ramp towards Downtown. Go right onto Market Street, and proceed for 1.5 miles. Soon after you see the UNCG campus on your right, turn right onto McIver Street. You will immediately see the McIver parking deck on your right and the Sullivan Science Building (conference venue) straight ahead.

There is a fitness center, outdoor seasonal pool, and a restaurant and lounge on the premises. The hotel also offers a limited shuttle service to venues within five miles.

All rooms include coffee maker, microwave, and refrigerator; complimentary hot breakfast, and in-room Wi-Fi. There is free parking on the premises, a 24-hour fitness center, and a seasonal outdoor pool. The hotel provides free shuttle service to and from the airport on a limited schedule between 6:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m., however, you must make a reservation 24 hours in advance.
